'Baby Jade' (Crassula ovata) (Druce): A whether kept indoors as a potted plant or grown outside as a dense, mounding shrub. Its small, round leaves sprout from thick branches and can when exposed to direct sun. The species is native to South Africa and Mozambique where it grows en masse on rocky slopes. This cultivar can reach about 12.0" tall, but indoor growing, small pots, and pruning will keep sweet Baby Jade a small, bonsai size.
