SmallRig Cage for Sony A7RIII/A7M3/A7III with VG-C3EM Vertical Grip 2176 mounts to the camera's tripod socket with a 1/4’’-20 screw and a second lock on the right side, preventing the camera from twisting and wiggling.

  • The first cage designed for Sony A7RIII/A7M3/A7III with VG-C3EM;
  • 4 mounting interfaces (cold shoe, NATO rail, threaded holes and Arri locating holes) for accessories such as microphones and monitors;
  • 15mm LWS system allowed;
  • Wrist and neck strap openings;
  • Form-fitting design with unobstructed battery, buttons and SD card access.


Anti-Twist Design

The cage is attached to the camera body by a 1/4" mounting screws. Besides this screw, CAGE 2176 has placed additional pin on the side surface of the cage – their task is to prevent the camera body from twisting/sliding after being mounted in the cage.

DIY Extension Possibilities

Cold shoe, nato rail, standard 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, Arri locating points on the cage allows to DIY your cage according your needs.

Access to the side outputs, slots and buttons

With the camera in the cage, you still have access to the SD card slot, battery compartment, and all camera controls.
